Transportation on the Island?
The simplest and most convenient way to travel around the island is the hire of a vehicle, where we can assist you with the rental.  We have mopeds and cars for hire.  We would advise, that unless you are an experienced moped driver, a car is more suitable to drive for the roads on the island.
In the case of Villa Crystal, Villa Emerald and Villa Sapphire, which are all located at Sitara Retreat, a 4 x 4 vehicle is required for the hill; or a moped if you are a competent driver.  If you prefer not to drive, taxis can pick you up at the entrance to Sitara Retreat which is a 4-5 min walk down a short steep hill.
Four of our villas provide the use of a vehicle within your villa rental price.  The remaining villas we can provide suitable vehicles at a competitive figure for you.

Is there insurance for vehicles?
All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 15,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.

It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.
If your intentions are not to drive on the island, we can provide tel numbers of taxi services for you.  Songthaews, which are a public mini truck service, also travel around on the ring road to places such as Lamai, Chaweng and Nathan where you can hail them down.
